Belt Sanders

Kelvin Power Tools stock a range of belt sanders from professional brands like Bosch, Metabo, Makita and Skil Masters. These tools are used mostly on wood and paint in order to quickly remove rough material and leave a smooth surface, but can also be used on plastics. They have a very aggressive action on wood, and are therefore mostly used in the beginning stages of the sanding process or for rapid stock removal. With fine grit sandpaper, belt sanders are capable of leaving a reasonably fine finish, but for there are other types of sander better suited to leaving perfect surface finishes.

Important features to consider when choosing your electric belt sander are dust removal, comfort and ease of use, motor, and flexibility.
