Our Demo Day Diary is looking fuller than it has done in a long time, with top names like Makita, Paslode, Metabo, Festool, Bosch and Panasonic in store over the next two months between 9am and 5pm.

So?

So this means that it gives our customers the invaluable chance to come along and get advice, demonstrations and the latest news direct from the manufacturers. Got a tool in mind but not 100% sure? If you let us know in advance we can make sure that it’s sitting here waiting to be demoed for you. Work with Paslode nailers? We have regular opportunities for you to get your Paslode ticket for free, to make sure you’re working safely on-site. And you never know, you might get in on some special demo-day deals!

And who can argue with that?

Several great things about these batteries. Firstly, they are backwards compatible. So as long as you have a 14.4v or 18v li-ion “slide-in battery” style cordless tool you only have to pay for the batteries themselves, and we all like to save a bit of cash!

Secondly, and more obviously, these batteries are both a time- and money-saver. They give 33% extra run-time, which of course gives increased mobility and freedom as well as less down-time messing around with batteries and chargers. On top of giving extra daily runtime, they also have a longer lifetime as they require less frequent charging. Lithium-ion cells can only cope with 1,000 to 1,500 charges before they need replacing, so if you can squeeze even an extra 10 minutes of work out of each charge, that’s a significant saving.

And finally, they are of course available with Metabo’s XXL 3 year warranty. We’ll keep you posted with updates as and when we get them!

I received the Big Bear boots today and am delighted with them.  I pinched a sole liner out of another pair of hubby’s footwear and popped inside and it is looking promising that Cinderella will go to the ball.

I have to say I cannot remember the last time I have received such top drawer customer service, you are both a credit to your firm and should the need arise for me to purchase anything that you stock you will be my first port of call in the future.
