Cordless Drill Drivers
Kelvin Power Tools have a huge selection of drill drivers available from top manufacturers like Bosch, Metabo, Makita, Panasonic, Skil and Festool. The range includes 10.8v models right up to 36v models, and so many package options that there’s one for every budget.
Drill drivers serve two basic functions; when fitted with a drill bit they are suitable for drilling holes in a variety of materials, and when fitted with a screw-driving bit they can drive screws into materials such as metal and wood. What makes these tools suitable for driving screws is the adjustable clutch mechanism, which stops the machine from driving screws too deep into the material and over-tightening or stripping the screw.
Some typical features to look for in a drill driver include: single speed/2-speed plus no-load speed, torque (which can be anywhere from around 11Nm to around 80Nm, depending on application) and torque settings, max drilling diameter, and comfort- and ease-of-use.
