HSS Cobalt Drill Bits

A wide range of HSS cobalt bits are stocked by Kelvin Power Tools, both online and in store. These Bosch HSS-Co metal drill bits are best suited to use in drill stands or pillar drills, and are suitable for drilling :

• Alloyed and non alloyed steel up to a tensile strength of 1000N/mm squared
• Stainless steel V2A/V4A
• Cast iron and cast steel
• Acid and heat resistant steels

Bosch drill bits have been designed to provide quick swarf removal, but for safety reasons it is best to work with a coolant if possible. In general, when working with hard and tough or short swarf producing materials, use drill bits with larger point angles and smaller flute angles.
