The Panasonic EY7880 LZ2C SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Drill 28.8v is a powerful, compact, and well-balanced cordless rotary hammer drill using the latest Panasonic 'Tough Tool IP' technology with large capacity 3.1Ah battery packs providing long life and more run time. This 28.8 volt SDS-Plus rotary hammer is designed for fast impact drilling of anchor holes and through holes for concrete and masonry, and is capable of serial concrete drilling of holes up to 20mm diameter by 110mm deep. This versatile tool also easily converts to straight drilling for steel and wood, and comes with a chiselling attachment which enables the tool to be used for light chiselling.

Tough Tool IP technology

The Panasonic Tough Tool IP technology provides a new level of toughness in the form of resistance to dust and water.
To achieve this rigorous standard, the components of the tools were specially adapted. The switches are treated with a special compound and in the EY7880LZ2C31 Rotary Hammer an additional rubber cap ensures the switch is sealed against water and dust. The electronic circuits of the tool and the battery packs are covered by a Urethane layer for maximum protection. Inside each battery pack each individual battery cell is sealed to avoid any intrusion of moisture.
