Order Cancellation and Goods Return

A key objective of our site and telephone support facility is to provide you with all the information you need to make a fully informed decision whenever you make a purchase. However should you wish to cancel an order or return unwanted goods please follow the procedures detailed below to help us ensure cancellations/returns are processed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Cancelling an order before despatch:

Simply log on to your customer account, note the order reference number and email the full cancellation details to sales@kelvinpowertools.com or contact our help desk on 0141 883 4794. Assuming the order has not been despatched we will cancel.

Cancelling an order/returning goods after despatch:

Once goods have been despatched you may cancel/return at any time within seven days starting the day after you take delivery of your order. Return of the goods will be at your cost or should you wish we can arrange a collection and return service which is chargeable.

  • Please ensure that any item you wish to return is unused, in the original packaging and in saleable condition.
  • Any free of charge items supplied with the product must also be returned.

To return any items you must have authorisation including a GRA (Goods Return Authorisation) number to be obtained as follows:

  • Log in to your customer account, choose the relevant order number.
  • Select the item(s) to be returned along with the reason for return.
  • Click submit.

Your GRA number will then be provided in a form with the return address and full details of the items you wish to send back. Please print this off and make sure it is included with the consignment. Please note we will not accept returned goods without a valid GRA.

Upon receipt of returned items in satisfactory condition we will arrange a full credit by the same method used to pay for the goods originally. Any credit due will be processed within a maximum of thirty days.

Incorrect/Damaged/Faulty Goods

Items Incorrectly Supplied:

In the event that the goods supplied are incorrect then please make sure they are replaced unused in the original packaging in saleable condition then notify us within seven working days from the day after you receive delivery by following the returns procedure detailed below.

Damaged Consignment:

All deliveries must be inspected before signing for receipt. Failure to do so may invalidate any future warranty or carriage claim. Signed as 'Unchecked' or 'Unexamined' is not acceptable. If there are any signs of damage to the consignment then you must sign as 'Damaged'. Alternatively the delivery can be refused and the sender notified immediately.

In the event that you receive goods which have been damaged in transit then please repackage them immediately and notify us within seven working days from the day after you receive delivery by following the returns procedure detailed below.

Faulty Goods:

If you take delivery of an item which appears to be faulty when you receive it then please contact our helpdesk on 0141 883 4794 or email sales@kelvinpowertools.com and we will endeavour to resolve any problems immediately. If the item needs to be returned then please repackage it carefully and notify us within seven working days from the day after you receive delivery by following the Returns Procedure detailed below.

Please note if goods returned as faulty are subsequently found to be in good working order we reserve the right to charge you the cost of any carriage charges incurred.  

If any goods purchased become faulty after the seven days have elapsed then please contact our helpdesk on 0141 883 4794 or email sales@kelvinpowertools.com for further assistance.

Returns Procedure:

  • Log in to your customer account and select the relevant order number.
  • Select the item(s) to be returned together with the appropriate reason for return. 
  • Indicate whether you would like a credit or replacement.
  • You will then be provided with a GRA (Goods Return Authorisation).
  • Print off GRA and make sure it is included with the consignment.

Repackage the goods together with the completed GRA then contact our helpdesk on 0141 883 4794 and we will arrange collection at our cost. Please note we will not accept returned goods without a valid GRA number.

Refunds/Replacements:

Upon receipt of returned items in satisfactory condition we will arrange a replacement or if requested a full credit by the same method used to pay for the goods originally. Any credits due will be processed within a maximum of thirty days. Any items supplied free of charge with a product must also be returned if the product is subsequently returned for credit.

Important Information:

Any time you need to return goods to Kelvin Power Tools we strongly recommend that you use a reputable carrier and obtain a receipt for the consignment. It is vitally important that all items are properly packed to provide adequate protection whilst shipping as we cannot be held liable for goods lost or damaged in transit.
