The Festool FSK 420 guide rail (769942) is designed for use with the HKC 55, HK 55 and HK 85 circular saws. It has the same great quality build and accuracy as regular Festool guide rails, but with a few extra features.
Thanks to its innovative "Stop System", the FSK 420 is ideal for making quick and precise mitre cuts in environments that are deemed inappropriate for a saw, such as on a roof or scaffolding.
How does the Festool Stop System work?
The Stop System enables accurately repeated angled cuts. Angles up to 60° left and right are marked along the rail, with a fixed stop at 0° on the opposite side. Simply slide the adjustable stop point to the correct angle marking, then when you place the board against the two stops, it will be at precisely the right angle relative to the cutting line.
other features of the Festool FSK 420 guide rail
Locks at common angles for easier precisely-angled cross cuts
Single click attachment: simply slide the saw onto the rail until the lever flicks out behind it to prevent it from sliding off backwards
Retract function: when you reach the end of the guide rail, an integrated rubber spring will return the saw back to the starting position
Splinter guard: ensures splinter-free cuts
Adhesive cushion strip: prevents any damage to the surface of the workpiece
Slideway lining for easy movement of the saw on the rail
