Cordless Vacuum Cleaners

What's the Difference Between a Dust Extractor and a Vacuum Cleaner?

Construction dust is a huge health hazard, so keeping your work environment dust-free is a priority!

A vacuum cleaner cleans up dust after it has been created, whereas a dust extractor connects to your power tools and extracts dust as it's created (most dust extractors also function as a vacuum cleaner). Some of these machines are suitable for both dry and wet extraction.

If you'll be using tools which produce a lot of dust, then a dust extractor is the right choice for you!

Dust Extractor Filter Classes

We have a great range of L class extractors, which is the minimum filter class that the HSE recommends for extracting mixed/lower toxicity dusts in the workplace.

We also have a great range of M class extractors which you'll likely need if you're working on site. This is the minimum filter class that the HSE recommends for extracting wood dust and silica dust (from soil, sand, cutting concrete, etc.) in the workplace.

Battery Voltage

There's different cordless vacuum cleaner voltages to choose from:

  • 10.8V/12V: For lighter-duty tasks.
  • 18V: For heavier-duty tasks.

Corded Vacuum Cleaners

We also have a great range of electric vacuum cleaners and dust extractors which might be better suited to your needs.

Workshop Dust Extractors

We also have a great range of machinery dust extractors which might be better suited to your needs.
