STIHL Smart Connector for Digital Tool Fleet Management

STIHL connected is a smart fleet management system that enables professional users to digitally manage machine fleets and work assignments. This is managed by the STIHL Smart Connector - a sensor with a diameter of just under 5cm, which is mounted on the tool. It can be mounted on petrol, electric or battery-powered tools where it records and saves the operating hours while the motor is running and transmits this information via Bluetooth® 4.2 to the STIHL connected App (the smart connector can be mounted on non-STIHL tools too). The Smart Connector offers entirely new functions and services, as a basis for device management both in your home garden using the STIHL connected App, and for managing your machine fleet using the STIHL connected Portal. STIHL offer a 1 year professional warranty or 2 year domestic warranty with all of their machines. They also offer a 1 year warranty with their PPE.

The following exceptions apply:

• AK System, AS System and AI Line cordless products aren't covered under warranty when used by professionals
• AP System machines, batteries and chargers - 2 year professional warranty
• Pressure washers - 2 year professional warranty or 3 year domestic warranty

Order by 2pm for items that trigger a 'freight rate' surcharge at the checkout (e.g. heavy generators and table saws), as well as anything that includes gas cartridges (e.g. Paslode nails). Please allow an extra day for Scottish Highlands postcodes. Freight items can't be delivered offshore.

Small Parcel Cheaper Delivery - £3.79

Untracked 7-12 working day delivery for small parcels (3-5 working days for UK mainland).

We provide a low-cost delivery for certain small parcels of up to 2kg for orders under £99. This service is provided by Royal Mail (currently on a 7-12 working day/3-5 working day service if in stock and depending on your location). It's applicable on some accessories from Bosch, DeWalt, Fein, Festool, Hikoki, Makita, Metabo, Milwaukee, Trend and more. Some compact cordless body-only tools will also qualify. This service won't accept any combustible items like gas cartridges or Lithium batteries.

NEW & Improved Secure Deliveries

PIN code verification at your doorstep.

We've improved the security of our deliveries to you with DPD's PIN code verification system. We use this service on most orders to ensure your parcel gets to you securely.

You'll receive a PIN code via text and/or email, which you must recite to the delivery driver on arrival. If someone is receiving the parcel on your behalf, remember to pass the code on to them. The driver can also resend the PIN code to the original contact on arrival if required. This service requires a mobile phone number with your order, so please ensure you provide one to take advantage.

• Our deliveries are very easy to track, plus you'll get a handy 1 hour window so you know when to expect delivery. You'll receive a tracking number with your 'order dispatched' email.
• Your VAT invoice is always in the box with your goods.
• Your goods are always securely packaged when leaving our warehouse. We strive to ensure your goods reach you in prime condition.
• Our main courier is DPD. We use DPD for the vast majority of our deliveries. Royal Mail, APC and Burns Express handle other specific types of deliveries for us. In poor weather conditions, our couriers may experience delays that are out of our control, however we will help you in every way possible to track your delivery progress.
• Delivery to construction/job sites is possible, but done so at your own risk. Our service can deliver to an address, but we can't guarantee delivery to a specific person or location at the address. For the best outcome, please provide detailed courier instructions and a contact number that we can pass on to the courier.
• Delivery to a 'safe place' is not available for most orders - someone must be present to receive delivery. This is particularly due to most orders being of high value. This ensures our couriers deliver to the right person at the right address, preventing your goods from being lost or stolen.
