Battery & WEEE Recycling

Battery Recycling

Under the Waste Battery Regulations 2009, we offer a take-back scheme for all waste portable batteries. You can return your waste batteries to our store in person (please don't post them) or you can find your local waste battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.com. Supermarkets and shops that sell batteries should also have collection bins for used batteries.

WEEE Recycling

Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, we offer a take-back scheme for waste electrical and electronic equipment. If you’re buying a new electrical item, we'll recycle your old one. It's on a like-for-like basis, so the appliance you return must offer the same function as your new purchase.

All you have to do is bring your old electrical appliance to our store within 28 days of your new purchase. The same applies if you make your purchase online with us (you must cover the cost to send your old appliance to us).

You can find out more about WEEE recycling and locate your local WEEE recycling facilities at www.recyclenow.com.
