These sanding rolls are the correct width for all conventional orbital sanders, and have both a high material removal rate and a long lifetime. They are part of the "Best for Wood" range, and all have different grit sizes.
Grit size refers to the size of the particles of abrading materials that are embedded in the these sanding paper rolls. This is generally measured using numbers, ranging from low numbers such as 40 to high numbers like 240.
The lower numbers are referred to as "coarse", and are used to achieve quick but rough results. The higher numbers are "fine", and are used for delicate materials and finishing.
